Treatments We Offer

At the clinic we offer a wide range of services and treatments to suit every client’s needs.

Initial Injury Assessment

Injury Assessment

An Initial Assessment is carried out to perform a thorough biomechanical examination to find firstly, exactly where the pain is coming from, and most importantly, the underlying root cause of the problem as well. During the assessment, specific tests are carried out on joints, soft tissues structures and nerves to detect any abnormalities.

Deep Tissue Massage on Lower Back

Deep Tissue Massage

This form of massage is very much the basis of a lot of hands-on treatment. It is a technique which is used to reduce muscle tension and break down scar tissue in the muscle. This helps to loosen over stretched and tight muscles caused by dysfunction, muscle spasm or injury, allowing an increase in mobility, and a reduction in pain. The treatment also helps with rehabilitation due to increased blood flow and reducing inflammation.

Medical Acupuncture, Dry Needling

Medical Acupuncture

Acupuncture has incredible clinical benefits when treating many muscle, tendon and nerve issues by inserting the very fine acupuncture needles into the specific points in the body. One of Acupunctures main strengths is stimulating accurate local blood flow to specific areas of the body. Medical Acupuncture has also been found to be very effective in the treatment of headaches and migraines.

Spinal Manipulation on Lumbar Spine
Sports Massage on Lower Limb
Strength and Conditioning Rehabilitation with Client on Squat Rack

Spinal Manipulation

Manipulative therapy is an excellent tool. The “Crack” or “Pop” is pressure in the joint in the form of gas, which when stretched, is allowed to escape, creating the sound. This helps improve motion, and release pressure. These are most commonly used for the lower back, mid back and neck but can be used for other joints as well.

Sports Massage

Perfect for keeping muscles loose and joints flexible. If you are a keen runner wanting to keep on top of things, a regular gym goer with a lot of tension, or just generally stiff and tight from work at a computer in the office, sports massages are incredibly beneficial. Can be used for any part of the body but most commonly used for lower back and neck and shoulders.

Strength & Conditioning Rehabilitation

Been elsewhere and felt like you still needed taking through those next steps? At the Clinic we offer gym based one on one rehabilitation. The most important step with any injury is giving it the best chance of never coming back.
